Hi! I'm Ian McAllister.
I'm a live music entertainer - I play piano and sing vocals with full sound of a backup band.
I have been been entertaining people with live music for over well over 50 years in settings such as concerts, clubs, retirement homes and private parties.
My musical background is in Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock, and Country - but over the last 10 years, I have expanded my repertoire to over 60 different genres of music across almost 100 years of musical history. That's a lot!
I'm excited to work with you to entertain and delight your guests.

I really enjoy meeting and talking with people at retirement homes - the residents genuinely enjoy the interaction, and it's one of the most satisfying parts of being a musician.
Since 2020, COVID-19 isolation has been particularly challenging in retirement communities, but necessary in order to preserve the safety of our most vulnerable populations. Traditional approaches to live music needed to adapt to provide much-needed entertainment, while rising to meet the need for increased safety and convenience - and that's where things get interesting.
